God's Love

I don't deserve to be more but a sinner,
Yet You call me Your child.
I don't deserve to be Your servant,
Yet You call me Your friend.
I don't deserve to be in Your presence,
Yet You send the Holy Spirit to be in me.
I don't deserve to live,
Yet You died so that I can live.
I don't deserve Your blessings,
Yet You never fail to bring me joy.
I don't deserve Your attention,
Yet You hear me when I call.
I don't deserve Your touch,
Yet You heal me and make me whole.
I don't deserve Your comfort,
Yet You carry me in Your arms.
I don't deserve Your acceptance
Yet You say that I'm fearfully and wonderfully made.
I don't deserve Your promises,
Yet Your word lasts forever.
I don't deserve Your forgiveness.
Yet Your mercy ad faithfulness never ends.
I don't deserve eternal life,
Yet You open up heaven for me.
I'm only one in a million,
One lost sheep that has gone astray,
One unworthy and sinful person,
One who doesn't have fame nor riches,
One whose only desire is to love You with all my
heart, my soul and my might.
YET OH GOD,
You sacrificed Your beloved Son for many like me.
Jesus, rejected and alone, beaten and crucified,
lived to die,
Thought of me above all.
You set me free and I will never be the same again.
I'll run the race because no one has or will love
me like You do.
I don't deserve anything, yet You give me everything.
